Thankyou gentlemen for your replies. I have also experienced a water shortage many years ago but the hotel did not impose restrictions. Perhaps they had exemptions but planning again for 50+ members is not easy. I appreciate Dominics & Trevs comments & will feed that back

With this & potential water shortages perhaps us tourists should start planning a staycation. Some of our bowls club members are questioning this situation & I try to convince them all will be ok but should I be concerned?

Ha Ha. I remember a friend on his retirement being treated by his company to a meal at the Riverside Inn at Bray. He said the plates were large but with tiny portions so nipped in for fish & chips on my way home
