Wheelchair hire.

Hi all.. My daughter is here with me in Polemi and has underwent knee surgery yesterday..
I have a wheelchair, but now that I need it for her, I find that the tyres have perished whilst it has been stored away.
Where is the best place to hire a collapsible wheelchair for the next week and a half?

I must admit, although having used the Minthis Hills road I don't know the route very well, and not where it comes out..
My appointment is near the General Hospital

Re: Avoid B7

This sounds as though it is one lane closure with Traffic lights. Very similar to what has been happening during the hours of darkness recently I do wonder why they cannot use the floodlights from 6 p.m. until 6 a.m., as they have done recently. It certainly will cause havoc with people's appointmen...

I would think that the contract is just for the section from Paphos to Stroumbi, although there are plans to continue it to Polis

Re: Car MOT

As others have said. To comply with the law, when you come back you should phone and make a definite appointment with the MOT station you are going to use. And you should not use the car until you have been to that appointment. Even if it fails, you are allowed to use the car for 30 days to allow yo...

Re: EAC produces misleading figures to back up curtailments

Instead of cutting the (too much) electricity made by solar panels, why don't they cut the electricity made by dirty fuel oil at the power stations. You know, the oil that we pay a fine to the EU, and it is on all our bills for using it.. :-(

Hmm, it will be interesting to see what members who regularly use the facilities there say about the improvements. I know a new 'wing' has been built at the back and I would think that will be bang up to date. I do attend the heart lab there and things seem to be ok, although in a little bit of a da...

Yes we noticed that, Monday gone, the growing spuds were very black from the top downwards due to the cold, this was at mandria beach, the field, driving from the closed beach bar, (4.50 a pint Carlsberg) no thanks along the rough road from the beach. Be cautious a lot of dog sh*** about on beach. ...
