Re: Orthopaedic Surgeon

I would recommend Dr C. Kampouris as well. He operated with keyhole surgery on my daughters knee earlier this year, and a friend I know had two new knee joints, but not at the same time

Re: Caught at the traffic lights

Yes it has. If I am turning right, I do not cross the line to wait in the middle. I stay behind the line until approaching traffic has ended you can cross the line and wait in the middle - you just need to ensure that the whole of your vehicle can cross the line whilst the light is on green.... But...

Re: Caught at the traffic lights

daveg. It is quite possible that if you were in 'No Mans Land', when the lights changed to red, the flash you saw was more than likely triggered by you. I always wait behind the line now for oncoming traffic to clear.
When the camera flashed at me, it cost me 300 euros and 3 points on my license

Re: Reducing Blood Pressure Level.

You need a much longer test Clive, blood pressure decreases considerably in the hot weather. I agree with what Miloman has said.. This is from an internet search..... "Yes, blood pressure can decrease in hot weather. This happens because your body works to cool itself down, causing your blood ...

Re: Fires 🔥

This one seems to be particularly bad. I could see the glow in the sky from Polemi. The last I heard was that 16 villages had been evacuated. And I have seen videos showing Cypriot houses burning.. There will be a lot of Damage. Let's hope that now it is light that the planes and helicoptors, togeth...

Is that not just a U bend with water in it? The trapped water should provide the seal for foul smells

Re: Sense By The Beach Is Open!

I have been through the two pages of the article, and it does look good. The prices are a little steep for me, but as mentioned, you get what you pay for.
I do have to add that the many, many adverts spoiled it for me, though.

Re: Dog friendly Restaurants ??

This evening 4 of us and Max my dog went to The Moorings. It was mid-evening and we were allowed to dine with my dog by my side.. He is very well behaved, but of course, restaurants don't know that.
The tables and the food were excellent.. I can recommend The Moorings, with or without a dog :-)
