I suppose it all depends where you live in the Paphos district. Limassol is an hours drive for us and the same return. For those near Polis it will be around an hour and a half..
But of course it takes 20 minutes to get to the hospital ..

He was very fortunate to be able to get out of the car, or be rescued from it. I must admit there have been odd times I have forgotten the hand brake in the past

Re: What is going on with these age related Covid vaccines?

When I used the 1474 telephone line I was only asked for my Gesy number, by the lady receptionist..
I certainly didn't have to give my user name and password over the telephone..

Re: What is going on with these age related Covid vaccines?

Wife had her vaccine at the General this morning and that went well. Unusually, she was asked for her MEU1/3, even after she had gavin them her passport. I wasn't asked for this with my jab. Just something to be aware of. Her repeat (Pfizer) jab is in 3 weeks, my Astra Zeneca is in 3 months. She co...

Re: What is going on with these age related Covid vaccines?

In our household we have been lucky regarding having the vaccination. Both my wife and myself had our names down on a list at our GP's . We were also on a list that was made in our village .. It just so happened that 3 weeks ago I left a question with the doctors receptionist for the doctor to answe...

Re: What is going on with these age related Covid vaccines?

I find it incredible that the doctor will not print out the sheet of paper to allow you to access with a code number.. Why not have another try and see if you can ask why the doctor will not give you this sheet of paper with the code number and the instructions

Re: Exchanging my Cyprus driving licence back to a UK one.

Hi Trev, thanks for your reply, any idea how long It would be valid for in the UK, the 3 years it's valid for maybe? It seems that you can drive on a foreign licence for 12 months " Any person with a valid driving licence issued in their country of origin is permitted to drive in the United Kingdom...

Re: Limassol records 70% of Cyprus' all new covid cases in past two weeks

Maybe it depends on the reason for going out. I will not be 'pooling' When I go to Nicosia later this month.. It is usually 2 hrs there and 2 hrs back and I expect the appointment to take 2 to 4 hrs..
I will just be applying once and taking proof of why we are going there

Re: Exchanging my Cyprus driving licence back to a UK one.

Personally I would change to a Cypriot one but of course you need a medical certificate.. The licence is free and is still valid to drive on when you return to the UK.. You can then change to a UK one when you are living at a UK address

New MUKW 1, 2, 3 Documents

This is from Nigel Howarth on the Eastern Forum.. You may have an MEU 1, 2 or 3, which are known colloquially as "Yellow Slips". These are valid for the rest of your life and will guarantee that you retain your rights in Cyprus as defined under the Withdrawal Agreement (with the UK) and the relevant...
