Re: Thursday's winds could reach gale force seven

You must be a heavy sleeper, ha ha.. There has been thunder, lightning, heavy rain and strong winds overnight here in Polemi.. Although the sun is out now there are still gale force winds and it is 5.7c in the shade

Re: Exchanging Driving Licence

Your licence WOULD be 'kosher' as you put it. So I can reliable tell you that if you are in a serious accident, ie car a write off, your 'in date' UK licence is accepted by the Police and the insurance company. Also in the past our insurance company have always taken a photo copy of our UK licences ...

I was under the impression, that once you have lived here for six months, then you had to change it for a local one?
This certainly is not true... If you live here you can keep your UK licence until it expires..
Of course things may change with Brexit

A cool night or early Wednesday morning, is forecast for here. But -2 degrees is forecast for the early hours of Saturday morning, so it looks like we will have frost on the ground and roof tops.

The Mall roundabout is Enormous.. Although some long vehicles may need more than one lane there is no need to 'wrong side' it

Re: Title deeds description?

If the owner of the property HAD the title deeds in His and or Her possession the property would be described as 'With Full Title Deed' ... The fact that they are available seems to be as Anarita John has said, they are available to purchase... But you have to wonder why the property owner/s have no...

Re: ROAD CLOSURE

So, it would seem that traffic has to turn left at the traffic lights and end up coming out at 'Pap's' lights. Re: Car insurance

The cost of insurance goes on a lot of personal criteria.. One is your age and another is your History..
