Re: Paphos Airport today
I don't think you can get to the old drop off point at the moment, we were taken to the airport by Rocky a couple of weeks ago, my wife is disabled and was having a bad day so Rocky volunteered to take us to the old drop off point but to do that he had to drive through the taxi car park. You can pul...

Re: Looking to sell my Rav4
Just go on Bazaraki, do a search for a car of similar details to yours, make, model, colour, miles and see what they are advertised for.

Re: Looking to sell my Rav4
I second that, I got offered between Euro 700 and 900 from 3 dealers for my old car, a Mitsubishi Pinin, sold it on Bazaraki for Euro 3500.
It was very easy, agreed the price we went to the citizens advice together, they did all the paperwork while we exchanged the cash.

Re: Airlines,fact or myth?
It's a myth, or at least Easyjet and Jet 2 don't do it, my wife looks at flights for days before buying and they usually do NOT go up.

Re: Wireless printer
Just a tip, price up the replacement cartridges before you buy, some are cheap as chips and some cost a fortune, better to pay £10 more for one with cheaper ink.

I do not think they have announced the day they start renewals probably Friday or Monday, no hurry though they will announce it in the Cyprus Mail.

Hi Jeba, If your interested the guy who looks after my pool arranged new pool liner for me and I know he arranges new pools for other people, if you wanted to have a word with him he saved me about Euro 2000 on my liner and it's a wonderful job, he is a Cypriot but speaks good English. Re: pool building company
Yes that's correct, I remember, it was 18 years ago, they told me if it was a tiled pool the base must be much thicker. We have had earthquakes and none have bothered my pool, the liner had to be changed at 15 years and the new one cost 4000 Euro. It is 10m x 5m.

Re: pool building company
I remember I was told the strength is important in the sides but the water pressure hold the bottom down, mine must be thin as they told me mine must always have water in.

Does this in any way effect private swimming pools, i.e. a house with it's own private pool. It does not seem to mention this.

Re: Cyta call, scam or genuine
OK, I got to the bottom of this, the Cyprus Government pays CYTA Euro 120 subsidy on the new fibre broadband, to claim this the customer has to sign to confirm that A) before fibre he had poor quality/slow broadband and B) that he now gets super past broadband up to 200Gbs. I asked them why they wan...

Re: Cyta call, scam or genuine
CYTA have now replied to my email, apparently they want me to sign to confirm the fibre has been installed then they receive a Euro 120 grant from the government.

Re: Cyta call, scam or genuine
It can be cheaper, I was on 40gbs with Cyta and they sent me an email saying if I accepted a free upgrade to fibre they would double my broadband speed now and when they installed the fibre optics I would get 200mbs all without a price increase, so I contacted them and reduced my broadband to 20gbs ...

Re: Paphos Smart Parking
I am not sure that the sensor can detect anything other than your app, when you park you use the app, when you leave the app can tell, I tried to use the app but as I have a pre-pay phone it said this was not accepted. I asked all my Cypriot friends and they all told me they do not pay so I gave it ...
