We've visited a few shrine caves on our travels through Cyprus. Most of them are fairly shallow though, and don't require a torch to explore. The Agios Konstantinos and St. Helen chapel is different. If you enter the cave there, you better come equipped with illumination...

I always thought the bottles with oil are to be used for the floating wicks candles. On the picture is a nice one.
Very interesting blog, but I would never have the courage to go inside that narrow cave.

Wow, very impressive in the virtual 360 tour. I know the place and took pics in the past, but when you are in there you cannot see what the 360 camera does and you are desperate to come out after a while....Thank you very much Dominic for all that efforts, absolutely great...
When I have the time I will go through all your 360 tours, what a change to normal photos....
