Who is vandalising Foinikas?

The Asprokremmos is filling up fast, so we decided to see if we could still drive to Foinikas, the abandoned historical village which lies on its banks. We succeeded, and took some lovely photographs, but also had a nasty surprise...

Thanks for that Dominic.

Are you sure this couldn’t be erosion or age causing old stonework to collapse? Seems strange that only a few buildings would be affected - so not a farmer gathering rocks....

Cant see why they would vandalise unless they think there are treasures to be found.... in those olden times, burying and hiding treasure was common - from invading forces.....

Wow - what a change since we have been there last time - and what a bl**dy shame about the senseless destruction :x.

The bird on page 8 is a Cormorant I would think - at Lake of Constance and the river Rhine downstream, where I grew up, hunters are allowed to shoot them as they deplete the fish stock too much.
