Rare occurrence: stalactites in sea caves...

The most beautiful & stunning stalactites and stalagmites I have seen
were in Lebanon, just out of Beirut. We had a weekend there about 15 years ago.
It's called the Jeita Grotto and it's worth a Google to see some pics.

The uniqueness is that the stalactites are in SEA CAVES, which need sweet water to form.... and it is in Paphos district... :)

Stump Cross Caverns in Yorkshire is quite spectacular too. The best ones I have seen in Cyprus were in the Paphos Caving blog.
