Ring Niki in the Council office 26632736 if it has been decided she will know.

We drove past the field the other day and the tulips were coming along nicely.

Probably won’t be decided for a couple of weeks until the village wisemen have had a few looks and decided when they are going to bloom. Was 3 April in 2016 and I think 2 April last year.

Well I don’t know where they will hold it this year because the Metochi is in the middle of renovation.

Our walking group did a walk round Polemi last Tuesday and walked passed the tulip field and we could see them all coming up, not in flower yet though.
Lovely walk on a lovely day ending up at The Olive Tree for a welcome drink and food served by the lovely Helen.

It's being held in Youth Centre Square, Trev. That's just down the lane from Metochi Tavern.

Makes you wonder where everybody will now park, as that was last year's car park, unless I have got the place wrong.

I usually avoid the actual day of the festival, often overcrowded, noisy and difficult to park. Will be worse this year as the Metochi is out of action.

To see the tulips well and in peace, go a few days before it. We were there today on our walk. No sign of any tulip blooms yet, as its too early.

Not familiar with Polemi, please can someone give instructions how to find the tulip field? Would love to visit it before the festival. Thanks.

It is signposted. However, it is fenced off and not open until the day. That's to stop people nicking tulips.

This is the field:
