Well, got up to see the closing celebrations tonight & although it rained as we walked up, the night subsequently stayed dry. 
What can I say about the celebrations ............. underwhelmed really, although my OH enjoyed it!
Personally, I was expecting a lot more after the fantastic opening ceremony at the beginning of the year but in the end it amounted to some musicians, a couple of choirs, 3 main singers, lots of singing, a light display ................. oh & did I mention lots of singing?
Anyway, here are some photos of the night!
