Firefighters battling blaze in Paphos district

A fire broke out at around 10.30am in an inaccessible area between the villages of Skoulli and Kato Akourdalia in Paphos on Sunday. Firefighters were still battling the blaze nearly three hours later.
According to the fire service, there are seven firefighting vehicles and 20 firefighters from the Polis Chrysochous station and the Peyia and Strumbi rural brigades in the area.
Also, two other firefighting vehicles from Limassol stations are heading there, CNA reported, along with two aircraft and a police helicopter.
