I saw this earlier but I must admit I thought the Municipal Property Tax was not going to be levied this year, only the one Property Tax to be paid to the Inland Revenue Office!

My understanding was that the main government IPT was cancelled this year leaving just the local municipality IPT which is now being calculated differently.
Correct Austin7. But we await what % of the 2013 valuations will be used, and also if they will maintain the discount for pensioners (not all councils give this discount, our's does. All pensioners receive it (Cypriots or expats) once you have produced documentary proof of it).

Geoff.
The % rates for different areas are all stated in Nigel's report - link given by OP.
Exactly so, like I said we will have to wait until the rates for our own areas are set.
I wonder why, though, they didn't set one rate for all the RoC based on the 2013 valuations?
Would be a lot simpler.
