Does anyone know if we can donate to this worthy cause via PayPal, please?

Might as well add whilst writing that if fellow co-members here on Paphos Life wish to help Dominic with his board running costs, just PM him and he or is dear wife will send you a PayPal link for this. I tested it and it worked fine!

As they say at Tesco, every little helps! Cheers- AL :)

That page is for donations to the Hospice, as opposed to specific donations to the appeal.

If you go to the Garden of Memories page on Paphos Life:

https://www.paphoslife.com/sponsors/garden_of_memories

There are a couple of links there:

https://gogetfunding.com/gardenofmemoriesappeal/

This one takes you to the GoGetgFunding page, where you can donate online. Unfortunately they don't accept Paypal though.

https://www.facebook.com/GardenOfMemoriesAppeal/

This is the Facebook page of the appeal. You could post a message there about Paypal options. It should be doable, but it is not something I am involved in.

Lifesabeach wrote: Sat Jul 08, 2017 8:28 pm Sorry - my mistake. I didn't take time to read the specific appeal, A memorial garden is a lovely idea.
That is exactly what I thought, Lifesabeach! Just managed to donate via PayPal for this beautiful idea for you in Cyprus to remember and cherish your loved ones in peace, calm and solitude...

Thanks! AL :(

ps: But I don't think it went to the Memorial Garden appeal fund, doh....

Copy of email just sent:

Hallo!

Yesterday, I donated €20 to archangel-michael-hospice via PayPal, but I think I was not on the correct web page...

I was trying to donate to your lovely Garden of Memories Appeal. Can you please divert my donation to that worthy cause?

And maybe ask the volunteers running that appeal to ADD paypal as a donation funding source? As I think this will massively INCREASE donations to this beautiful project!

Thanks- Alan Overton

Hello Al,
First of all thank you for your kind donation of 20 euro towards our Garden of Memories Appeal. I have checked on the systems I control for this appeal and your donation has not appeared on them so I will start to track it down in the morning, firstly by contacting Archangel Michael Hospice for them to check their systems but rest assured it will be located and it will end up in the Appeal coffers and I will confirm with you when that happens.
For everyone's information if you go to our Garden of Memories Appeal page on Facebook, click on the Learn more button which will give you full details of what we are hoping to achieve and the names and photos of the people responsible for achieving it. If you feel you can support our appeal then click on the Donate button and it will take you through the fairly simple procedures, You can make a donation via PayPal and all the usual methods ie Visa etc. If you wish to donate by other means, all the St Michael's Charity shops and the Hospice will accept but please ensure you get a receipt and leave your name and phone no so we can get back to you. Also clearly mark your donation 'Garden of Memories Appeal'.
Best wishes
