Paphos Easter Decorations

In Cyprus Easter is a bigger deal than Christmas, and they have the decorations to prove it. We went out and about around the Paphos District to check out what this year's adornments were like.

I wonder what young children's view of Easter is having seen these decorations consisting mainly of Hens - laying Chocolate eggs? Sadly really nothing showing the Christian meaning of Easter.

Judging by the number of kids hanging around churches today I don't think they have any trouble in associating Easter with Religion.

Minor point Dominic, our village supermarket is Pavlos rather than Pavlov - perhaps you’ve been subconsciously conditioned

Oh, have eggs never had any relevance to Easter, they did when I was a kid!
