It is the Thunderstorms that we don't like. Max my dog quivers and shakes and tries to get out and presumably run away

Weather this time of the seasons perfect for us, you will just have to take what comes, in Spain they are having very hot conditions, as a resident here I like this mixed weather, we do and will need the rain.

Trev we had a dog like yours in the UK long before moving here, she just went bananas when we had thunder.

And yes regarding your comment it was Coco, bless her ..That is her photo of her in my start box.

Trevor, just a thought, but would calming music help Max at all? It sounds a bit odd, but it might be worth a try.

Our dog Daisy hates thunder, twin cabs, shotguns etc. we tried various medications which had some effect eventually. Last month our vet recommended a “calm collar” and so far, so good. It needs to be changed monthly.

Even little snow one can see on the webcam Troodos this morning.... quite unusual for end of April.

Our vet, Yiaanis, in Polis supplied it. It is called “Adaptil Calm Collare”, and the writing on the box is - I think - Italian.
