What do you define as huge? The ads are the same as they always have been. The only modification I made recently was to the sponsored banner ads you see at the top of the page. They can now be animated slightly.

I haven't made any changes to the google ad feed.

This is how they should look. If you feel that is too big, then you need to either learn to live with them or find another forum to post on, as they aint going away.

If however, you are getting ones twice the size of that, then yes, I agree something is amiss.

NB: this site relies in part from money obtained via google advertising. Considering how few of you ever bother to contribute to the running costs via the Coffee link, it is a wonder there aren't more of them! Also note that any discussion on how to disable ads is a really quick way of getting banned.

That's what happens if you run one of those. Thank you, I now know what I shall call all the pictures I upload in future.

I find clearing 'cookies' and the 'cache' resolves many problems such as this. Also pays to remove a bookmark and put on a new one occasionally just to reboot the system, particularly if websites are slower than usual.

No probs with the ads, the quality of the forum is what counts.
