The B7 has collapsed again, just outside Giolou. It will be closed for a couple of months, and diversions are in place. We thought it would be prudent to show you what you can expect...

Thanks for the picture. I will be travelling that way on Friday so am now aware of what I will be confronted with.

There was talk of bulldozing a temporary road through adjacent fields, instead of having the long detours.
Does anyone know what happened to that idea ??

There already is a track around it. Trouble is, it is very muddy, and if it rains will get much worse.

Is the B6 road that was blocked by a landslip last winter, beyond Aphrodite Rock open yet?

No. That road has more fundamental issues. I think it is closed because it was in danger of collapsing.
