Alys I,ve lived in Cyprus for fifteen years.Barking dogs are a huge problem on the island,and your lucky if you live in and area where you are not bothered by them.Reporting the problem to the Mukhtar or the police more often than not will not get you any where.So there you have it.
I,ve solved my personal situation.I,ve installed two sets of double glazing in my windows.i keep the drone of a small humidifier going all night and where ear plugs.(the ear plugs are great)
Its a problem,but we can always go back to the UK.

I'm in UK and pay the BBC Licence fee. WTF is going on here?

No idea Al. At a guess I would say the clip was put up by BBC.COM, not BBC.CO.UK.

BBC.COM can't be shown in the UK, as they have adverts.

Something like that, anyway.

Brilliant! I watch his videos on FB and they always make me laugh. The Prancing one, can't remember exact title is very funny.

We had a problem with a neighbours barking dog. I got a high frequency 'Horn Tweeter', a signal generator and an amplifier. you set the signal generator above 15K place the Horn/tweeter in a waterproof bag and a lead from the amplifier stretching down the garden. When the dog starts barking turn the amplifier on. The effect was hilarious, the dog freaked out and disappeared, it did return a couple more times and after that no dog.
