Kallepia Chapel Cave

We've visited a few shrine caves on our travels through Cyprus. Most of the caves are fairly shallow though, and don't require a torch to explore. The Agios Konstantinos and St. Helen chapel is different. If you enter the cave there, you better come equipped with illumination. You should also wear long trousers, as you are likely to be on your knees at several points. A word of warning, too. I visited the cave twice, in order to record these images. Both times, I suffered from cramp afterwards, as you really do have to hunch down to explore properly. I also found myself working up a sweat, despite the coolness of the air. So bring a change of clothes. You will be thankful for it when you emerge into daylight again!
