Civil Service Pension in Cyprus?

This is a question for those who get their Civil Service Pension (PCSPS) paid directly into a bank account in Cyprus. I will be retiring next Aug and moving to Cyprus after 42 years in the UK Civil Service. One question I've not really been able to get a definitive answer on is whether the pension is still automatically uprated each year due to cost of living increases (as it would be if you receive it in the UK) or whether it doesn't if paid directly into a bank over in Cyprus?
Allied to this is whether you have found it better to get it taxed in the UK or over in Cyprus (double taxation rules apply)? I'll talk to a tax specialist (any suggestions?) over there but just wanted to get a feel for what people have done.
Finally (for now
) if I pay tax in Cyprus on my income (ie pension), would I be liable to make GESY contributions and therefore be able to access health services over there? My wife and I will still take out private insurance but just wanted to think about our options.
Any thoughts/suggestions are very welcome.
Cheers
