I agree there is little on any Satellite systems in English at least, most of us now use MAG systems, see the Technology page for info on this, if Sky was still available I would not use that service too expensive, take a look at what is on offer to MAG users you will be surprised, it has the lot and a lot more..
Oh and no huge 3Mtr dishes needed either, in fact no dishes at all!!

3 metre satellite dish on the roof? Take it down and use it in the garden as a rockery or flower bed. It would make an unusual feature

There are people who remove satellite dishes but not sure if the contact I have (John L) still does this.

nilesat, or do you mean badr satilite at a position 26 degrees east, 4/5/6/7 there are four sats stacked there, English chns included.
perhaps get rid of your 3 meter now useless scrap, an use a smaller 120 cm dish, (that's the size I use) and stick a motor on it which when set up correctly will bring in a whole host of satellites, but don't expect unwatchable (for myself) stuff like depressing EastEnders.
yes we have IPTV.

But wouldn't a 3 Mtr dish also receive them?
Harry.
of course, my off-set 3mtr dish, off-set meaning dish was oval in shape, not standard circular, one satellite dish, I used for 28degree sky chns, I received badr on much smaller dish, (a spare small sky dish) as beam from badr is very direct in Cyprus.
