Cyprus Airways First Flight

Cyprus Airways successfully completed its first test flight last Friday with an initial trip to Heraklion, Crete.

The first flight (CY0001) departed from Larnaca airport on 3rd March 2017, for the one hour thirty minute trip. The flight was undertaken in order to obtain an AOC license (Air Operator Certificate) to allow it to carry passengers.

Many thanks for that info Steve + the link.
We hope they will fly to Manchester (UK) all the year round like the old Cyprus Airways used to.
Apart from Cobalt hardly any airlines fly from LCA to Manchester in the Winter months.
