President Nicos Anastasiades said on Tuesday that British Prime Minister Theresa May sent him a letter on May 26 in which she expressed her opposition to Turkey's planned drilling activities in Cyprus' exclusive economic zone....

It was Queen Elizabeth's Birthday Party at the British High Commission yesterday. The President of the Republic of Cyprus gave a very good speech, which is reported in the press in the link above.
I thought I would share a couple of photographs I took, as it was a nice event, and as I said, a good speech.
Here's to a long and friendly relationship between Cyprus and the UK, whatever the future may bring.
And the nibbles were lovely, but not a Ferrero Rocher in sight!
