Paphos Sea Front

Somebody was asking me about this a couple of weeks ago, so I thought I would do a film...
Let's walk along Paphos Sea Front from Geroskipou to the Castle!
It would normally take about an hour but we've squeezed it in to under six minutes. Sit back, turn up the volume, and enjoy!

Terrific, Dominic. Saw no bicycles (I think). Are they allowed, or only pedestrians?

Thank you Dominic, enjoyed that, especially for people like me, who don't live in Paphos, great little church, one other thing, did your arms hurt, after that.

WHL - yes, and during. The things one does for one's art. Hem hem.
I don't know aboiut bicycles. There were a few motorised tricycles, but thankfully not too many, and none of those segways.

Signs / rules : I've been to 1 or 2 countries in my life;
rules are culture-variant. Nice to know you can take a nice stroll along this route

I was very pleasantly surprised with how nice the walk was.

Made me think of living somewhere fairly close to the start of your video tour, actually.
Imagine the mental health of strolling along that road each morning...

Dominic -- personal question , so just say no (by ignoring it) if you feel so inclined :
You seem to have been about a bit for this site. What attracted you to Polemi as a place to live?
Just curious, as I'm thinking about where to relocate my family.

What attracted us to Polemi?
Firstly, it's a nice place.
Secondly, it is more pleasant than Paphos in the hot summer. It doesn't have the evening humidity.
Thirdly, we do like getting about, and Polemi is very central. I can be in Paphos, Polis, the Akamas or Paphos Forest in equal amounts of time.
Fourthly, we wanted to live in a proper Cypriot village.
The fourth point might be a reason not to live here for somebody who wants a big expat social scene, and there is nothing wrong in that. You should choose where you want to live based on what you want. It is a decision you will have to live with, nobody else, so stick with what you want.
I say this, because some people always seem to want to argue about this sort of thing, and there really is nothing to argue about.
