Bank of Cyprus borrowers stage protest in Paphos

Bank of Cyprus borrowers took to the streets in Paphos to protest against property foreclosures and high service charges.
According to philenews, the protesters gathered outside a branch of the bank and shouted chants and threw eggs against the entrance of the building.
They accused the government of “being in bed” with the banks and for providing them with the legal tools for their practices.
They demanded the termination of property foreclosures for cases that are protested in court.
