Writers and artists to drop "Turkish" from union name

THE Turkish Cypriot union of writers and artists has decided to drop the word "Turkish" from its title and limit the term TRNC in a bid to draw people from all backgrounds and fight racism....

Cyprus needs ideas like this to get the country to reunite. It has to come from the people.

I can understand dropping TRNC but at the end of the day they are Turkish Cypriots and shouldn't have to feel the need to hide that....
I haven't actually read the article as I'm browsing on my phone and it's too difficult to go backwards and forwards.
