Whats wrong with the other spelling "Pafos" ?

Nothing at all. I used it for the site http://www.oldpafos.com

Pafos is the spelling in International English.

Paphos is the spelling in UK English.

I have amended the title of the thread though. I couldn't take it any more.

No, you misunderstood what Mike meant. He made his post before my edit. Mike was saying what is wrong in spelling it Pafos instead of Paphos?

It says something about the original poster who didn’t bother to spell it correctly Pafos or Paphos! This created a poor impression.

The A and the S are next to each other on QUERTY keyboard, very easy to click on the wrong one, and Pafos is OK spelled this way as it is on many road signs, as posted not that it matters at all.
