Tiptoe to the tulips

People are already flocking to see the tulips of Polemi before the annual festival at the end of March, arriving by the coachload to glimpse the sprouting blooms.

How are the Tulips looking now that we have has a big hailstorm yesterday.?? The hail has shredded trees here and even plastic flowers have been shredded.
Edit >>> I have just had a walk down there and they do not seem damaged. But they will hopefully look better in 6 days time...

I won’t be able to get home after work....the current venue doesn’t allow me to access my home as they cordon off the road grrrr

Sadie it is just one day a year
You can leave the car and just walk home, it's not far I walked to the field from the main municipal offices this morning. Pray for a fine day

Trev, I know it’s only one day....but when I’ve been on my feet all morning at work the last thing I need is another stroll, tiptoeing or not
Hopefully next yr the Metochi will be the venue again
...

Went to have a look at the tulips last year and found one field full of them along a very narrow road. Just hope they survive the forecast rain later this week.

I really hope the tulips survived the hail this morning as it was really bad and a couple of my plants are a bit shredded, I am really looking forward to seeing all of the tulips, hopefully they are all ok...and of course now you mention it David, we will pop into the charity shop to have a look around, thanks for the reminder.
