Rainwater Coming In Through Ceiling Extractor Fan

Hi everyone, I'm looking for some advice on how to stop rainwater seeping in through my extractor fan
in the upstairs bathroom on a flat roof.
I stress this is rainwater not condensation, the flat roof above is sound as is the area around the extractor fan pipe and the stench pipe next to it, where they come out of the roof.
This extractor fan pipe has a bend on it with a cone shaped ''grill'' on the end.
There are no wet or damp marks on the bathroom ceiling, just water coming through the extractor fan. Any ideas anyone, i'm baffled!
Thanks for reading.

Lincoln is right. That could be an issue. We had that with the power to the immersion on the roof and a tube of silicone solved it by filling the top of the electrical duct on the roof. It didn't just come out by the immersion switch, but also one of the light fittings in the kitchen.
When you say there is a bend in the extract duct, is it 90 degrees? if the rain was hitting it head on then it might get in through the grill. You could try making it 180 degrees or moving the direction it points in if it would make it more shielded from the rain. If it the cone shaped grill I am thinking of, could you just use something like gaffer tape and some plastic sheet or similar to make a cowl. If that works you know it is getting in there. Does the grill look something like this? https://www.drainageonline.co.uk/above- ... inal-sv321
