Paphos Life

A friend is having a knee replacement soon and will probably require some sort of mobility aid, i.e. crutches, standing frame. I don't think the General supplies these, so does anyone know if there's a hire shop anywhere near Paphos General?

There are organisations other than mobility shops that hire out mobility aids. The UKCA on the coast road in Chloraka has a Welfare Section and items are available for members and non members. Perhaps worth looking at the website to see if there is anything suitable and to get some idea of cost: https://www.ukca.com.cy/welfare.html

There are also 2 shops close to the General hospital as far as I know. One just opposite the entrance of the car park and the other one between the post office and the large round about on the left side of the road.

Stray Haven Charity shop in Peyia have a set of crutches for sale. We also found UKCA very helpful.
