Yeroskipou to spend e500,000 on new asphalting

The Yeroskipou municipality will be spending e500,000 for asphalting work in view of improving road networks damaged by Paphos sewerage board works dating back almost ten years....

The road in Polemi from the direction of Letimbou is dreadful and could certainly d with resurfacing..

That does seem a colossal amount to be spending, but given the road repairs I have seen in and around Paphos over the 14 years I have spent here. I would say it's actually minimal. Most seem to be bodged, minor jobs to just get the repair done, which is fine in the short term, but what is needed is really serious money spent on repairing the roads peoperly and professionally, so that they can properly withstand the normal day to day wear and tear.

It would be nice if Chlorakas Municipality would consider spending some money on the road going past Papantonios. This must be the worst road in the Paphos area. It was never satisfactorily after the sewerage installation of several years ago
