Paphos Life

We will be in Polemi tomorrow and need to know exactly what the weather there will be...Not so easy,,,,,we have checked out three different forecasts and each one has given a different version.
1/Thunder all day.
2/Frequent showers.
3.Light rain later. Any Help

Lovely and sunny today though, if it helps.

Well it has certainly reined overnight in Polemi, and it was still pouring down at 6am.
But it is fine at the moment for Dog walking

Last night was not all about that rain but the gale force winds, it was a restless night, my roof over the drive decided to come lose and was making an awful noise all night, ladders out when I get the chance.

No thunder but just a tad draughty.

Sorry friends,we did our visit to Polemi today and not an ounce of rain.It seems that the weather channels plus everyone and their mother in law...…...well...…...got it wrong..Oh dear...What do you have to do here to get an accurate weather prediction.

Well we had rain on and off in Polemi today, and a lot last night.

You can’t get a totally accurate forecast as Paphos area has a series of micro climates. Here in Chloraka it was dry for virtually all the day. I use weatherunderground which does forecasts for different areas. It is usually pretty accurate.

We usually look out at the sky through our windows, that storm was so bad it ripped the roof off all 10 meters of it from our car cover. it certainly rained here and when the wind got hold of it it was sideways rain of biblical proportions, so the weather forecast was spot on for us here just down the road from your area. Odd isn't it.


So what do you do when you want a decent prediction on local weather, look out of the window it seems.
