Hi Portugal has announced that no visas will be required for British tourists in the event of a "no deal".Also,no change for expats regarding medical and existing rights if the same is afforded to Portugese nationals living in UK.Fair play to them!

And do you think they need to when tourism on the island is at record levels and "Brits" account for around a third of that?

According to the National Federation of Cypriot (UK) there are over 335,000 Greek Cypriot in the UK. The 2011 census showed 24,500 UK citizens in Cyprus. If they are charging the UK citizens for their new NHS surely our NHS should be charging the 335,000 Greek citizens in the UK. Or am I missing something.

Isn´t the NHS tax-funded? Are those 335000 Cypriots not paying tax?

What you are missing, is there is not 335,000 Greek Citizens in the UK..... the fact is there are 335,000 Brits of Cypriot decent in the UK, what this means is they are as British as you and me, the vast majority being born in the UK, all with British passports .... but their ancestry, is from Cyprus forefathers, the same as Brits with Irish/African/Asian/European/Nordic etc etc ancestry..... a big difference from 24.500 Brits residing in Cyprus.
