It is certainly a strong gale up here in Polemi. It's not raining at the moment but it had poured down during the night

I tried them all from A (Accu) to W (wunderground..) in the past, but the only one showing real rain radar is that German website. Since I found it I could rely on the images on there and go with my dog avoiding rain with an precise timing of 15 minutes... great!

Nope. Still peeing it down on and off. We had overnight 46mm of rain according to our neighbour. Going to post a film soon.

Max, I can look out the window and tell whether it's raining or not and whether I should take the dog for a walk, if I had one that is! We are talking about a forecast for the next 24 hours or so and one website is pretty much similar to the others in that respect really!

It is not necessary to have sarcastic comments, Shane. My point was that this German Rain radar is very accurate in the short term, either going with the dog or wait another 15 minutes or so. For example today, your link from wunderground showed rain every hour from the morning to the evening but I wanted to drive down to town without messing up my just cleaned car, only to go to the banks. Well, I drove down 11 AM on dry roads all the way and back and my car is still clean. (exactly as forecast on the rain radar for that area) That's was all. By the way: my dog has fixed times where she needs to go for poo and that's nothing to do with rain.

And up here in Polemi and some tall thin conifers are being blown to 45 degrees.. God knows how I choose a dog walking time. I remember last Summer when it was too hot on the dogs paws to walk him...

Yes it's blowing a complete gale and tipping it down again. I made a stream through my garden earlier on, to let the water that had flooded part of the garden escape. It was empty after a while, but now it is flowing again.
