What is this?

At first glance I assumed it was a person, but it looks more like a scarecrow having zoomed in. I saw it in a random bit of farmland. I should add it didn't move!

".................I should add it didn't move!"
Well that's a relief!
Pretty weird, or elaborate even for a scarecrow!

Perhaps it was a security device? IE, put there to make people think that somebody was in the farm still.
Or perhaps a worker wanted to fool their boss?

No, I've got it. Pulp have reformed and are doing a follow up to Different Class. This is a shoot for the album cover.

Don't think Pulp could afford Kate Moss?
She looks as if she has put on a little weight.
But it definitely is Kate.

I readily admit to being out of touch with farming attire, but is this really what the current farmhands wear to look after the animals, the crops or the plants?

I also think it is a security thing - may be he is scared somebody is nicking his fire wood.
Look at all the electric installations and spotlight....

The spotlight is mood lighting for pics of Kate Moss, security is always stepped up when she is in town, hence the padlock on the gate.

Mind you, that exposed knee could be something masonic.

Looks like a shop mannequin being used as an upmarket scarecrow - obviously a wealthy farmer with a valuable crop worth protecting!!
Seriously I am wondering which type of crops they are?

Actually that wasn't an abandoned property. That was after the abandoned property, a bit further down the valley. I would imagine the valley looks even more gorgeous now, judging by the surrounding countryside.
