It is the first time snow was reaching the valleys in our Paphos district this year......... so I had a little trip to Minthis Hills top for this photos (freezing 2.5 c though)to share with you..

Snow is half way down from the Panayia hills towards Choulou village and Ezousa valley

Lucky people to have this view (I personally don't like the architecture though) the recent built houses have both: sea and mountain view..

I wonder if the Washingtonia feels the cold as I do...

plenty of water carries the Ezousa river, which goes straight in the sea though

the viewpoint above Peravasa forest station has got also a bit of the white stuff

and Panayia, first time this year...

So, altogether it is much more snow than last year January

I was up around that area this afternoon and there wasn't any snow, so it must have melted pretty quick. I ended up at your Sinti Monastery, which was pretty odd as I was supposed to be just popping out for a loaf of bread.

I hope my Sinti Monastery won't be flooded soon.. :?: Is it a lot of water there which will definitely fill the dam more up? I wonder what happens with "your" Foinikas village if the water level raises much more... you better have a look :)

There will be a blog later....

But your monastery is fine. :) In fact, the stonework was looking very clean with all the rain. I took a couple of pics but I will refer people back to your original blog for the full tour. I did take some 360s as well though, so that will be a nice addition.
