Does anybody know if there will be any fireworks displays tomorrow night? If yes, details would be much appreciated.

Not sure but I remember there were displays in previous years at the Elysium Hotel off the TOTK road!

Can't afford to partake in the Elysium's dinner at between EUR110 and EUR175pp but it might be a plan to settle in to a nearby restaurant/bar and maybe see some of the fireworks as a 'non-Elysium visitor'. Thanks ApusApus.

Thanks Flossie. That matches my research unfortunately.

Still getting my bearings in Paphos (only been here less than a month) but I think there is what looks like a nice Italian on the corner of TOTK road and the side road that takes you to the Elysium. Might wander down tomorrow and have a brief look around.

I think you mean Duomo?

Their food is very good, and if you take proof you live in Cyprus I think you get a discount card or something.

That's the one. Thanks for the hint re proof living in Cyprus. No MEU1 yet, still a UK licence. What if they accept my new shiny Cyprus Debit Card as proof...

Any bill? A Cyprus debit card may well be enough.

There are every year private fireworks at Minthis Hills, where Russian and Chinese owners having fun, unlike me, which hates them my whole life.
(intesting report yesterday in German TV: air pollution from fireworks in Germany equals all the pollution from cars in Germany within 2 month which is shocking.)
