Consumption of motor fuel in 2018 fell by around 2 per cent on the previous year, owing to no small part to more and more Greek Cypriots buying their fuel in the north, the head of the petrol station owners association said on Thursday....

This could also explain the recent price reduction.

No wonder as Diko's Papadopoulos was heavily involved in the tax reduction. I can understand the sales of heating diesel being down, because it has up until recent days been quite a mild Winter. We use gas for the central heating and have not bought any yet this Winter..
