Just hope the weather settles down from the beginning of next week until the beginning of January and if it does rain (or worse), only between 2-6 am. Never known a December like this!

It is indeed very much needed, but could he have lots of rain without the thunder though.
On one hand my wife likes the curtains open to see all the lightning.
On the other hand our dog is frightened to death an quivers and whines as soon as he hears thunder in the distance. Two night ago he was with us on the bed but would not settle so lack of sleep for me...
I actually went back to sleep, with Max the dog from 7-30 am until 9-30 am

So tonight we can expect more of the same

Yes I read somewhere they were saying that Kouris Dam is now higher than it was at the same time last year. This is good news. However, it is still less than 10% full.

It does look like a contradiction.

It is less than 10% full but in danger of overflowing. Very odd.

Dominic wasn't talking about the Kouris dam overflowing, just that it has more water in it than at the same time last year. Two smaller dams are overflowing.

The article is being a tad optimistic. Yes it does raise the chance of it flooding, the chance is still very low.

Well it has been dark here for about an hour, so I doubt you will have seen much. it was quite nice earlier in the day

From 9 AM only sunny today in my place. A short shower of 3 minutes 5.30 PM, that was it with the rain so far...
