By a quirk of fate the only image visible to me when I looked at this recipe was the top one, so I assumed it was the finished product, and I was thinking "Hang on, that just looks like half a plum surrounded by brown sugar".

You misunderstood me. The pictures all loaded fine. But only one was visible on screen and I initially thought that it was the only picture.
