I had some good service from DHL this week .

I ordered a laptop from a shop on eBay on Monday and it was delivered to my door in Tala on Friday . It was the same guy who brought a parcel early this year . :)

I am pleased that you have had good service from them Mr Blobby..
I wish I could be as enthusiastic as you.. A cassette dog lead was ordered from Amazon DE on the 28th of November.. The package according to tracking is still in Germany.. I have asked DHL what is happening and they tell me I need to contact the Post Office. I have been there and they tell me I need to contact DHL... Grrrrrr..

My DHL package was also stuck in Germany. It is bloody ridiculous. They are supposed to be tracking it yet I had to wait 2 weeks for them to admit that it was lost. It never reached DHL in Cyprus.

But I have had DHL stuff delivered to our door in the meantime, that didn't go via Germany. And any time I tried to order a Kindle, it would get lost in Germany. This would indicate a problem in Germany somewhere, not Cyprus.

But when the package does get to Cyprus, DHL are about the only company that have been able to find my - hardly well hidden - front door. Most others I meet by the bank.

I posted a package to Almaty in Kazakhstan on Tuesday lunchtime and it arrived at our nieces apartment on Thursday; well done DHL.

I use Amazon mainly from Germany now, it is always delivered by UPS door to door, if you pay for the expedited delivery it usually here within a few days, the only problem it makes your purchase more expensive depending on the order cost of course.
Last week I ordered a Lavazza Pod coffee machine it came next day, amazing service.

Documents from Germany sent via DHL arrived within 18 hours in Paphos and were delivered to the office in town... (excellent)

Had to laugh - I ordered something from Amazon Germany on 28th November which was shipped via DHL. Its tracking details displayed this for days on end...

so I contacted Amazon Germany who decided it must be lost and sent a replacement via UPS. The UPS item was ordered at 16:50 on 18th Dec and delivered to my door at 15:30 on 20th December.

Today, some 30 days later, I had to go to Polis to collect the original item

Contacted Amazon to tell them - they said to keep both!!

I too have a similar situation with DHL in Germany.. Just like your screen shot the last entry says ' Sent Abroad' and this was on the 29th of November..
The post office here say it is still in Germany, contact DHL... DHL tell me I have to contact the Cyprus Post Office... And so we go round and round :-(

When I spoke to the Cyprus Post Office they said (if I understood her correctly) that DHL had changed from air delivery from Germany to sending stuff to Athens by truck and flying from there. In any event, they said they could do nothing until it actually arrived in Cyprus, and to be fair to them, it took 7 days from the time it landed in Cyprus.
