Much better than the smelly seaweed.
It does say in the article it is a good thing. At least the foam you get in Cyprus is not frozen. Last year, in March, Beast from the East weekend, I took this photo on Anglesey, and the foam was frozen solid.

There was certainly some big waves on Wednesday , I didn’t see the foam . But I would not fancy going in it , if it was like these stock photos .

We get it a lot around Cleveleys beach and near Central Pier in Blackpool on very windy days
