So now, according to the article, they have been paid their November wages..
But the strike now is because they have no assurances about being paid their December wages and their 13th salary.. Does anyone know if the 13th Salary is a normal months wages ??

20 year ago when I used to work on the rigs in the North Sea some companies paid a 13th wage as a sort of bonus.

As you got paid for 4 weeks a month, ( 48 weeks ). 52 weeks in a year.

But in reality they would keep hold of a couple of hundred quid a month back & give you it at the end of the year.
Always came in useful at Xmas time & nobody quit until January !!
