At this time of the year I am every morning fascinated from the cloud formations in the early hours of the day...

This pics are from this morning


a large cloud prevented the nice sunrise though


a different story yesterday and different clouds as well




and here we are...






and again different clouds appear towards the mountains


two days ago, if you believe or not: another cloud type


I am not the only early bird though


and finally before it get's too boring....but I will be out tomorrow morning, just in case ....you never know..

Makes me almost want to get up early enough to catch the sunrise.

This is my advantage living in an elevated position as I just walk out of my bedroom door in the first glimmer of light, waiting for the morning to come.
Many photos are at least 20 minutes BEFORE sunrise.

A example was today when it looked not very promising in the first minutes... only the little red stripe in the background indicated a chance...


and what came up was this moody pic 5 minutes before sunrise. The sunrise itself was not interesting later ....

Max they are all good but that last one was something else. Stare at the top left side for long enough & I either see a benign or an angry face. Well done
