Cyprus Gas

I seem to remember the Turkish President threatening all and sundry, that he would never allow anyone to drill off Cyprus without his
permission. so what happened to that? Big mouth.

The Turkish prospecting ship was recently seen around their part of the field. Perhaps they have done what they wanted and have simply gone home. Anyway, the US ship is inside the Republics part of the EEZ.

Perhaps just like any other bully, he threatened all sorts, but when the Yanks turned up, he scuttled away with his tail between his legs.

Doesn't help the Turkish cause really, if only they would ratify the latest/current UNCLOS agreement and not isolate themselves ………………… but I guess that's not in their interests!
