I will be 73 next year and I have just received my Insurance quotation for Villa, cars et al. However, the policy expires the day before my 73rd Birthday. I have been with the Company several years.
Has anyone else experienced this situation please?
Thanks
Alan

I asked Atlantic about age limits for medical insurance a couple of years ago when we first started considering coming to Cyprus. This was the reply - "There is no age limit beyond which we wouldn't offer cover. There is an entry stage age limit. You can see in the brochure the estimate for the age group of 75 & over as it stands now."

Go and speak to Top Quotes. I am 76 and we moved all our policies to them when I was 73 as I was sick of Gan Direct 's " Snap Happy "policy. We have the two cars and the house with AIG through them and we get a discount for having all three. Th cost went up at 75 but I don't think that is is unreasonable. We have just renewed the House Insurance, no problem. We also get Travel Insurance from Top Quotes at a good price.

And the answer is:
That's the date my Driving Licence expires.

Yes, I also have motor insurance with AIG (using Top Quotes, who also do my travel insurance too) for the same age related reasons. AIG give very good comprehensive cover but are quite expensive. My health insurance is with Universal Life who I find very reliable, have been with them quite a long time. They have paid several claims for minor ops over the years.
House was insured with AIG until I discovered that I could get similar cover from a UK based company for 2/3 of the price of my AIG quote despite having had no claims!

Yes, I’m with Intasure too. They seem quite happy to insure property over here.
