Lest we forget. Boys yeah boys 14 years old and older not much more fought to keep us free. I'm proud of the boy's and men that did it to keep me free.

Yes, I’m very proud of the sacrifices that my parents and their generation made in WW2 to keep us free. May we and the younger generations not forget this..

I am proud, on two counts, firstly that the father I never knew was killed six weeks before I was born, fighting for his country in the Second World War, and secondly that the mother who was left to raise me without the support of my father did - what in my opinion - was a superb job in bringing me up on her own, seeing me through high school, but sadly not seeing me fulfil my potential in qualifying as an accountant in my later years.
