If you are using your mobile phone while driving, you're putting yourself and others in danger. Keep your hand on the steering wheel. Not only is it dangerous, the police have just announced a new campaign for distracted drivers....
Read the article and chat about it below...

Very rarely do I get any phone calls, especially while driving, I do have a totally hands free wi-fi connection, your mobile stay in your pocket, my audio system has a hands free wi-fi connection and works through the audio cutting off any music or other audio, it works well and is not distracting and your hands stay on the steering wheel.
I saw a lady on Saturday putting lipstick on via her rearview mirror, of course also very dangerous.

Jim.
It is Bluetooth that you are using I would think. I agree it’s very useful.

It's so simple. I never answer my phone while driving and of course also don't look who's calling. I wait until I'm at my destination.

You are all missing the point here.
These clowns, sorry ... meant to say nice Cypriot people, are not receiving calls. They are making them. These are outgoing calls.
The second that they get behind the wheel they start dialling. Totally insane.
They must think that it is some kind of magical device that only works while the car is in motion.
However, as I was informed by a nice Cypriot gentleman in Limassol, in this country we are the foreigners so we should not criticise.

Even taking or making a call on a hands free system is taking your mind off of the road.
Just don't do it!
I don't believe that any phone call is that important.

I do not think anyone is missing any point William and it is not just Cypriots, personally I would never call other mobiles while driving, most of us do tune in or switch on car radios, my hands stay on the wheel when using my wi-fi connection and there is no distractions apart from just talking, do we not all talk while driving maybe to passengers?,
of course we all do!.
I do agree as to making calls or receiving them via a mobile is a very dangerous practice, fortunately, I do not get calls on my mobile, as I have no friends!!

If you want to go hands free with your phone get some SUPERGLUE and glue it to your ear.
Then you can drive hands free!
It's a bugger when you can not see who is calling you.

Whilst I NEVER EVER use my mobile whilst moving what can be more distracting is someone sitting next to you who won't stop talking and gesticulating! Where's the silence button.
