Just tried to shop there today the supermarket is closed for good the shelves were still full of stock never heard anything about it before.

Is this in Paphos, and is it the one near the Yeroskipou roundabout?

Yes Trev, it is the Superhome Debenhams.

I had been coming across comments on other forums (Greek and English) but there was nothing official. Can't understand why there was no notification in the store or on official sites.

The Debenhams in Ledra Street, Nicosia will be closing down on 6th March according to their website/FB Page.

Oh dear.. That is not good news. I was in there less than 2 weeks ago using up a credit note..

Sad for the staff more than the customers

Just like in UK then/
M&S going the same way in UK.
Discounters + higher business rates (in UK) are the final death knell.

I'm a little confused, is it just the food hall or the whole store closing?

Just the food hall everything else still operating open and busy.

The staff working on putting up the panels to close the food hall from the clothes part.
