Good Morning,
Any suggestions where I can buy either ready made lined curtains or shop which has good choice of materials and blinds?

If you are prepared to wait Dunelm in the uk and have them shipped by Lee or RSS. Great selection at very good prices. Lined, Thermal etc etc all sizes and tops

Thanks, Alastair for your suggestion. I didn’t know that Dunelm did curtains. Could check when next in the UK. But has anyone bought curtains in Paphos either made to measure or ready made? So far I have tried Ampersand and Home Design but not seen reasonably priced materials that are suitable.

Please let me know if you used somewhere which did a good job at a reasonable price?

Dunelm .com is the website you can check out . Quite a lot of sale items which may suit. Anyway will give you an idea of what is available.

I agree. He has the widest selection of materials around.

I spent 6 weeks looking for curtains in Paphos and gave up and ordered from John Lewis in the end, to have the same thing made here was over double!! for material Georges is very good.

I make my own clothes and knit buying my material or wool online at https://www.minervacrafts.com/

They have an excellent home crafts section too with everything you need to make curtains. All my orders have been received promptly, usually within a week, and their material has always been spot on, I must have ordered something like 15 lots of material and 3 of wool plus various patterns, threads and zips over the last 18 months. You can order sample swatches to check the material is exactly what you require, particularly useful if you’re thinking of placing a large order.

Prior to finding this company I did go up to George in Limassol but personally didn’t like his stock very much, although I wasn’t looking for curtains. I know of someone who purchased cushion cover material at George’s and they made the covers for them, so assume he may also offer curtain making as well.

I have also ordered bedding from Next and that was delivered here without problems, but they did send it with DHL so I had to collect it from their agents office in Paphos town.
