Litter picking

Noticed this morning ,that there were a group of people litter picking byAlice Land....
They had high vis jackets on and lots of sacks for the litter....
Anyone know if this is a group open to new volunteers.

Walking group with a purpose perhaps?
Certainly looked to me to be so... Guessing they were a British group....

I was the only British person at the last litter picking session I attended.

We picked up 97 empty and part empty plastic water bottles the other day.....
Unfortunately we live close to a water factory....
Took them back to the factory to try and shame their employees ,who just Chuck them out of there delivery lorries....

Likewise ,the wife and I always take bin liners to the coast and if everybody did the same it would make a difference.
